Adair County motorcycle accident injures Greencastle man

A Greencastle man was injured on Friday afternoon when the motorcycle he was driving traveled off an Adair County road, throwing him off. Sixty-five year old Ralph Rose was taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, with injuries described as 'MODERATE' by the Highway Patrol.
The accident was on Route CC in southeastern Adair County. The Patrol said the southbound motorcycle went off the right side of the road when Rose swerved to avoid a deer. The machine was demolished. Rose was wearing a helmet.
