Bethany man dies in overnight accident

| A Bethany man has died from injuries received in a pickup truck accident two miles south of Bethany. The Highway Patrol identified the victim as 58-year old Sterling W. Lowrey.
He was pronounced dead shortly after midnight. Lowrey was southbound when his pickup failed to make a curve on Highway 13.
The vehicle left the road on the west side and struck a tree, forcing it to a stop. The pickup was demolished in the accident that occurred at 11:35 Sunday night.
The Patrol said Lowrey was not using a seat belt. Sterling Lowrey becomes the second traffic fatality investigated by the Highway Patrol this year in Harrison County.
