A vehicle occupied by two area residents hit a black bull in Caldwell County overnight, resulting in what the Highway Patrol described as minor injuries for the passenger, 28-year old Kristen Chamberlain of Cameron, who was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
The collision occurred as a vehicle was being driven westbound on Caldwell County Route BB, 1 1/2 miles east of Cameron, and just west of Sale Barn Road, at 12:30 Saturday morning.

The driver of the vehicle, who apparently escaped injury, was identified as 26-year old Jonathan Parker of Gallatin. Both he and Ms. Chamberlain were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision with the bull. Vehicle damage was extensive. The Missouri Highway Patrol was assisted by the Caldwell County Sheriff's Department and the Cameron Fire Department at the scene.
