A portion of the Mercer County Public Water Supply District Number One is under a precautionary boil advisory. Repairs have been completed to a water main break west of Princeton.

The advisory, to boil water used for cooking and drinking, affects rural water customers with boundaries that are Highway 136 on the north; Weldon River on the east; Route D on the south; and Route A on the west. The public water district office at Mercer recommends boiling water for three minutes.

The boil water advisory goes until 12 noon Friday for the affected Mercer County customers.
