Keytesville man injured after ramming into Casey's General Store

A Keytesville man was hurt when he hit the accelerator instead of the brake, resulting in his sport utility vehicle striking a Casey's General Store building in Keytesville. The Highway Patrol said the driver, 74-year old Charles Jaeger of Keytesville, received minor injuries.
Jaeger was taken by ambulance to Moberly Regional Medical Center. There was minor damage to the SUV in the late Saturday afternoon accident. No other injuries were reported. The Chariton County Sheriff's Department described damage to the building as 'moderate'.
