A Brookfield man was among three people injured on Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident in Linn County, two miles west of Brookfield on U.S. Highway 36.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says that a vehicle driven by 58-year old Debra Anderson of Moberly was traveling eastbound on U.S. 36 just past 4 o'clock, when she attempted to make a left turn from the driving lane of a MEDIAN CROSSOVER and turned into the path of an eastbound vehicle driven by 54-year old Gregory Crafton of Brookfield.

Crafton was in the eastbound passing lane, with BOTH vehicles coming to rest in the median after the collision.

Both drivers, in addition to a passenger in Debra Anderson's vehicle, her 78-year old mother, Geraldine Anderson of Moberly, were taken by ambulance to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, all three with injuries described as minor by the Highway Patrol. All three were reported to be wearing seat belts.
