A Braymer woman lost her life last (Friday) night in a one-vehicle accident in Caldwell County, less than a quarter mile east of Route A, on Route KK, two miles south of Braymer.
The Highway Patrol identified the victim as 40-year old Stacie Sands (of Braymer).

The Patrol said that Ms. Sands was traveling eastbound at 7:30 last evening, when she ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and had the vehicle cross the road, hit a ditch, and overturn, ejecting the woman from the vehicle, which came to rest on its roof, facing south.

She was pronounced dead just over one hour after the time of the accident by a Caldwell County deputy.
