A section of Highway 46 in northwestern Harrison County (just northwest of Eagleville) will be closed beginning today (Monday) for a bridge replacement project. The bridge is over the West Fork of Big Creek, near Route YY. The closure is to last six to eight weeks.
The project is part of Missouri's Safe and Sound Bridge Program. Under that program, Harrison County has 25 bridge replacement or repair projects, the most of any county across the state of Missouri. This is the FINAL bridge to be completed in Harrison County.
