I-29 rollover accident injures Cameron woman

A Cameron woman was taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph on Friday evening, after her involvement in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 29 in Buchanan County, one mile south of U.S. Highway 169.
The Highway Patrol said 58-year old Vickie Broermann suffered injuries they described as MODERATE. Ms. Broermann was traveling northbound on I-29, in the "driving" lane, when a tractor-trailer attempted to pass and forced the vehicle off the roadway.

After trying to correct her vehicle back onto the driving surface, Ms. Broermann had her vehicle begin to overturn. It came to rest in the driving lane of I-29, facing west. She WAS wearing a seat belt. The driver of the tractor-trailer unit was not identified by the Highway Patrol's report. The accident occurred Friday evening at 8:09.
