Chillicothe man hurt in early morning wreck

A Chillicothe resident was injured early today when, according to the Highway Patrol, his car went out of control and off a rural Livingston county road.
The patrol said 46 year old Troy Meinecke received MODERATE injuries and was taken by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.

An investigator said Meinecke was westbound on County Road 238 when he apparently over-corrected and the car ran off the road, struck an embankment, and overturned coming to rest on its wheels. Damage was extensive to the car in the accident which is said to have occurred at 3:30 THIS morning. The patrol report indicated Meinecke was NOT wearing a seat belt.
