A road in southwestern Daviess County will be closed beginning Monday, June 18th for a bridge replacement. The location is on Route J over Marrowbone Creek, just south of Route D. The bridge is expected to be closed until early August.
Route J already is closed at Dog Creek for a bridge replacement. The Dog Creek Bridge is tentatively set to re-open on July 13th.

The structures are part of the Missouri Safe and Sound Bridge Improvement Plan, which includes the replacement or repair of 15 bridges in Daviess County. Thirteen (13) of those already have been completed.

In north-central and northwest Missouri, 190 bridges are to be replaced or repaired by the end of 2013.
