A summer food drive has been announced in Mercer County to fill "bare emergency food shelves". The Mercer County Food Pantry says that "Festive" boxes will be available at local merchants. Those making contributions also can do so through their church or drop off items between 9:00 and 12 noon at the Princeton United Methodist Church.
Also at Princeton, summer hours have been announced for the Stacy Center. Swimming pool maintenance is scheduled this week, resulting in the closure of the facility on Saturday and Sunday.

Beginning Monday (June 18th), new summer hours will be three mornings a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) from 5:00 until 9:30. For the afternoon hours on Monday through Friday, the Stacy Center will be open from 3:30 to 5:00 for adult swimming, aerobics, and water therapy. No children will be allowed in the pool during these times. The OPEN swim period at the Stacy Center will be from 5:00 until 6:30, again Monday through Friday (closed on weekends).

Various events are planned for June and July at the Stacy Center. They will be announced on KTTN-KGOZ newscasts as those dates occur. To get information now on any of the upcoming events, people can call the Stacy Center directly or use their FACEBOOK page.
