An Eagleville girl was killed when the car she was driving traveled off Highway 69 north of Eagleville, hit an embankment, and overturned several times, throwing her from the vehicle. Sixteen year old Brittni Brenizer of Eagleville was pronounced dead at Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany on Saturday night, about 90 minutes after the accident.
Services are scheduled on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the North Harrison R-3 School Building in Eagleville under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home in Eagleville, with memorials to the Brittni Brenizer Scholarship Fund.

A passenger in the car, 16 year old Reed Hallock of Hatfield, was taken by private vehicle to Harrison County Community Hospital with what the Highway Patrol called MODERATE injuries.

The wreck was just north of Eagleville on Highway 69. The Patrol said the southbound car crossed the center line, the driver over-corrected, and the vehicle went off the right side of the road. The car was demolished.

The Patrol said Miss Brenizer was not wearing a seat belt. It was unknown whether Hallock was using a safety device.
