A Browning resident was hurt on Sunday morning in Linneus when the car he was driving hit a utility pole and overturned.
Eighteen year old Joshua Allen was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield with what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries.

The investigating officer said the car was northbound on Highway 5 in Linneus, failed to negotiate a curve, hit a utility pole, and overturned, coming to rest on the road. The vehicle was demolished. The Patrol said Allen was not wearing a seat belt.
