Trenton wins state gold in two relay events, Princeton's Goodin sets new state record

IN RESULTS FROM THE STATE TRACK MEETS AT JEFFERSON CITY SATURDAY, THE TRENTON GIRLS PLACED FOURTH OVERALL IN THE CLASS TWO GIRLS TEAM STANDINGS AND HAD A FIRST PLACE FINISH IN THE FOUR-BY-400 METER RELAY.
TRENTON PLACED SEVENTH IN THE CLASS TWO BOYS TEAM STANDINGS. PRINCETON WAS FIFTH IN THE CLASS ONE BOYS DIVISION.

BLAKE GOODIN HAD TWO MORE FIRST PLACE FINISHES. THEY CAME IN THE 16-HUNDRED METERS AND 800 METERS. THAT GAVE GOODIN THREE FIRST PLACE PERFORMANCES FOR THE TWO DAY MEET. HE WAS FIRST IN THE 32-HUNDRED METERS FRIDAY. THE PRINCETON SENIOR WON ELEVEN GOLD MEDALS DURING HIS CAREER---A STATE RECORD.

THE TRENTON GIRLS STATE CHAMPION FOUR BY 400 METER RELAY TEAM WAS COMPRISED OF SCOTLIN HURLEY, MACKENZIE MACK, MADDIE HOOYMAN, AND CHANDLER WILSON. THEIR TIME WAS JUST UNDER FOUR MINUTES SEVEN SECONDS.

CHANDLER WILSON WAS SECOND IN THE 200 METER DASH AND FIFTH IN THE 100 METERS.

TRENTON WAS SIXTH IN THE GIRLS FOUR BY 100 METER RELAY. MEMBERS OF THE TEAM WERE MACKENZIE MACK, MCKINLEY HURLEY, SCOTLIN HURLEY, AND MADDIE HOOYMAN.

THE TRENTON BOYS FOUR BY 400 METER RELAY TEAM HAD A SECOND PLACE FINISH SATURDAY. THE SQUAD CONSISTED OF SAM COOL, COLBY LARSON, SETH ACTON, AND JAMES FAIRCHILD. FREDDIE PANNELL WAS FOURTH IN THE TRIPLE JUMP.

A FEW FINALS WERE HELD FRIDAY. THE TRENTON BOYS FOUR BY 800 METER RELAY TEAM WAS FIRST. CHANDLER WILSON WAS FOURTH IN THE GIRLS TRIPLE JUMP.
