Highway 36 collision injures Jamesport woman

A Jamesport resident was hurt when the car she was driving hit the rear of a tractor-trailer unit on Highway 36 west of Cameron. Fifty-nine year old Carolyn Huston of Jamesport was taken by private vehicle to Cameron Regional Medical Center, with injuries described as minor by the Highway Patrol.
The accident was Tuesday morning five miles west of Cameron. The Patrol said the westbound car hit the rear of a truck that had slowed to make a right turn. The car driven by Ms. Huston was extensively damaged. The truck had minor damage.

The truck driver, 53-year old L.D. Franks of Osborn, was not reported hurt. Both people were wearing seat belts.
