Gallatin's City Hall to receive a new roof

The Gallatin Board of Aldermen has accepted a bid from Worrell Construction for roof replacement work at Gallatin City Hall. The bid is $7,500 plus materials.
City Administrator Zac Johnson told aldermen that Gallatin workers have been "extremely" busy over the past two weeks, creating 196 overtime hours. Johnson said he is planning to place job notices this week.

Police Chief Mark Richards is presenting a bicycle safety class for Kindergarten pupils this week. He also discussed the possibility of annexing the city's cemeteries into Gallatin's city limits.
