NCMC softball signs Norwood H.S. senior

Norwood High School student/athlete Jordan Cottengim recently signed a letter of commitment to attend North Central Missouri College in Trenton in the fall and play softball for the NCMC Lady Pirates.
Cottengim was the pitcher on her high school softball team and was a four-year varsity letterman. Jordan helped lead her team to three district softball championships and three Summit Conference Championships. She received the following softball post-season honors: Summit All-Conference (four years), All-District (four years), All-Regional (three years), All-State (one year) and Academic All-State (one year). Jordan was also a member of the basketball team, earning All-Conference three times and All-District twice.

Previously-signed recruits for the 2012-13 NCMC Lady Pirates softball team include Danessa Derry (Princeton); Cassidy Janicek and Olivia Lotven (Columbia); and Mercedes Foster (Newtown).
