NCMC Pirates sign Meadville's Keaton Duncan

Keaton Duncan, a 6’7” post player, is the first announced recruit for the 2012-13 Pirates basketball team at North Central Missouri College in Trenton. The son of George and Gayla Duncan of Meadville, Keaton expects to receive a transfer degree from NCMC and eventually earn a bachelor’s degree in physical education.
Head Pirates Coach Steve Richman commented about Duncan, “Keaton is a great addition to our ball team. As he develops, he will become a dominant post presence as he has a great attitude and knows how to win.”

At Meadville High School, he averaged 12.4 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. The Meadville Eagles were four-time district champs, four-time sectional participants, and a quarterfinal participant once during Duncan’s high school career. They had an astonishing 103 wins and 10 losses. He was on the CLAA All-Conference First Team and All-Tournament Team in 2010-11 and 2011-12 and was the CLAA Conference and Tournament MVP in 2011-12. Duncan was also named to the MSSA and MBCA All-District Teams in 2011-12.
