I-35 accident injures Kansas City man

A Kansas City man was injured on Monday morning in Clinton County when a tire blew out of his truck, causing the vehicle to overturn on Interstate 35, seven miles south of Cameron.
The State Patrol described injuries as MODERATE for 29 year old Ryan Johnson of Kansas City. He was taken by ambulance to Liberty Hospital.

The Patrol said Johnson was northbound in the left lane of I-35 when the left front tire blew out. As he applied the brakes, the truck went into the median, then crossed over to the southbound lanes, where it overturned onto its top. The truck was demolished. The Patrol said Johnson was wearing a seat belt.
