New Hampton crash injures four

Four people were injured when two vehicles collided on Sunday afternoon at New Hampton in western Harrison County.
Involved were a southbound car driven by 49 year old Norma Fleming of Kansas City and a northbound van operated by 33 year old Angela Bridger of New Hampton. The collision occurred on Harrison County Route EE when the van attempted to turn west onto Lincoln Street and turned into the path of the car.

Mrs. Fleming and her husband, 48-year old Charles Fleming of Kansas City, received what the Highway Patrol called MODERATE injuries while their 12 year old son, Ian Fleming, sustained minor injuries. All were taken by ambulance to Northwest Medical Center in Albany. The driver of the van, Angela Bridger, was to seek her own medical treatment for minor injuries. Damage to both vehicles was extensive.
