Princeton School Instructor Nominated For NCMC Board

An instructor at Princeton R-5 Schools, Maureen Funk, has been nominated as a new member of the North Central Missouri College Foundation Board of Directors.  She will fill an unexpired two-year term on the Board.

The foundation board has 24 members from various communities in north central Missouri.  It is expected that she and Gary Jordan, Chief Executive Officer at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, will both formally join the Board at its August meeting.

Mrs. Funk has worked with accelerated learners and gifted students for nearly twenty years in the Princeton and Macon school districts.  She has also been an elementary school principal and a math, science, and home economics instructor.  She earned a master’s degree from University of Missouri – St. Louis, a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University, and an associate’s degree from Muscatine Community College, also in Iowa.
