Spickard Resident Injured In Saturday Night Accident

A thirty nine year old Spickard resident, Bryan J. Cox, received minor injuries when he fell asleep and the pickup truck he was driving went off Highway 65 north of Spickard.

He was taken by ambulance to the Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

The accident happened late Saturday night 2 miles north of Spickard.

The pickup, which was pulling a trailer, was southbound when it went off the right side of the road. The trailer separated from the pickup and came to rest upright behind the truck.

Damage to the pickup was listed as moderate.

Cox was wearing a seatbelt.
