|Persons viewing the art show Saturday at the Gooseberry Festival at Trenton voted for their favorite entry.|
There was a two way tie for 1st place among works by Nellie Bruner of Mercer called Days Gone By, and Loreen McDonald of Trenton called Raising Cane and Kids.
A work by Loreen McDonald called Peaceful Purple Giraffe was next followed by
Kay Anderson of Trenton with Mother Sheep and Lamb.
The favorite artist award winners were Loreen McDonald of Trenton 1st, Kay Anderson of Trenton 2nd, and Kellie Bruner of Mercer 3rd.
More than 100 persons viewed the Gooseberry Festival art show sponsored by the
Trenton Art Guild. In addition to the local area, there were visitors from Boise, Idaho; Winter Park, Colorado; Columbia, Kansas City, and Des Moines.
