Voters at Princeton, in November, will decide a 1/2 cent city sales tax proposal for street maintenance.

The Princeton City Council, Monday night, approved an ordinance to place the transportation sales tax proposal on the ballot.

The Princeton Council approved 2 fireworks permits for June 20th to July 5th. Those permits go to Bill Heck and Jeff Power at no charge. The city receives sales tax revenue from the fireworks sales.

The Princeton Council approved a caterer's permit for Jeff's Place for July 4th.

The Council approved the renewal of liquor licenses for Jeff's Place, Crossroads, Chiefs, Snappy's, and Caseys.

The Princeton Council approved a service contract request from the Chamber of Commerce for $325 for entertainment at the Independence celebration on July 5th It's to be used for 13 singers.

The Princeton Council approved a free swim day for participants in the Mercer County Library's reading program. It's on July 25th.
