Entertainment Announced For North Central Missouri Fair

Entertainment has been announced for this years' North Central Missouri Fair.

The first event is actually before the traditional “fair week” in Trenton. What's called “the battle of the bands” is scheduled Saturday night July 26th at 7 o'clock in the grandstand area.

The fair begins Tuesday July 29th with the early evening parade at 5:30; the FFA alumni barbecue is at 6 o'clock; and the coronation of the fair queen will be at 7 o'clock-- this time in the courtyard next to the Rock Barn.

Wednesday night, the fair offers a tractor pull by the North Missouri Farm Pullers
Association. It starts at 7 o'clock. On Thursday July 31st, the fair features bull-riding
competition at 7:30. It'll be preceded by the kids event “muttin bustin” at 6:30.

Events Friday August include the A-T-V and dirt bike moto-cross races at 7 o'clock. PAR Broadcasting's Country Showdown – a local talent contest – will be held at 7:30 in the courtyard next to the Trenton Rock Barn.

For Saturday August 2nd, events include a horse show at 9 o'clock at the North Missouri Saddle Club arena; FFA-sponsored baby show at 10 o'clock in the courtyard; there's a new event at 1 o'clock – arm wrestling at the grandstand arena; and the fair concludes with the annual demolition derby at 7 o'clock.

Other events of fair week July 29th through August 2nd include a nightly carnival; FFA cook shack; judging of livestock; exhibits and displays. North Central Missouri Fair officials operate a beer stand in the grandstand area only; at selected events.
