University Missouri Extension To Hold Meeting On Arts In Linn County

|University of Missouri Extension says rural Missouri communities are increasingly reaping the economic benefits of adding community arts programs for downtown revitalization, tourism, and business startups.|
University Extension and the Linn County Extension Council are scheduled to hold a program to discuss how Linn County may choose similar strategies.
The meeting is the night of June 30th from 6:30 until 8 o'clock at Suzie Q's Restaurant at Marceline.
University of Missouri Extension Community Arts Specialist, Lee Ann Woolery, is to assist Linn County in identifying opportunities. They include historic preservation, performing arts, and agri-tourism.
The meeting is intended for Linn County elected officials, non-profits, lenders, employers, businesses, development groups, teachers, and those involved in the arts.
