The Trenton Family Aquatics Center opened for the season last Saturday,. In a recent interview, prices and hours were announced.

The regular pool hours are afternoons from 1 until 6 o'clock. Daily admission for persons ages 2 through 54 is $5. Persons ages 55 and older are admitted for $2.50. Children under age 2 get in free.

Non profit groups pay $2.50 a person when there's a minimum of 25 people.

Although the regular pool hours are from 1 until 6 o'clock, lap swimming is from Noon until 1 o'clock for persons who have a $20 season pass for lap swimming. There's no daily admission for lap swimming.

Other seasonal rates are family passes at $160 for up to 6 persons with at least 1 adult. Single passes are $60, and senior passes are $20.

Pool parties can be scheduled for nighttime from 6:30 until 8:30 at a cost of $225. The charge includes the party area at the concession stand. Pool parties are not available on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

The party area rental charge, during the regular pool hours, is $20 an hour. Reservations should be made with front desk personnel.

Admission inside the gates for non swimmers is $1.

Daniel Gott is entering his 8th year as the pool manager. He's also served 3 years as assistant manager.

This is his 17th year of working at the municipal pool facilities at Trenton.
