Just one week after being released from his letter of intent by the University of Missouri, four-star shooting guard Namon Wright has re-committed to the Tigers basketball program, leaving new coach Kim Anderson with one more available scholarship for the Class of 2014.

Wright is the country's #73 prospect, and originally committed to Missouri in September (under then Head Coach Frank Haith). After being released from his signed letter, Wright visited the University of Utah, while indicating there was a chance he could re-commit to MU. PowerMizzou.com confirmed Wright's latest decision via text message on Friday morning. Wright prepped at Pacific Hills High School in Los Angeles, California.

Wright will join Jakeenan Gant, D'Angelo Allen, and Hawaii transfer Keith Shamburger in Coach Anderson's first recruiting class at his alma mater. The final scholarship available for Missouri could be filled by former Wake Forest signee Shelton Mitchell, who will be visiting the Missouri campus this weekend. A decision between Vanderbilt and Missouri is expected by late next week. Mitchell is a top-75 national recruit, that, if signed by Missouri, would give Coach Anderson three players in the top 76 prospects in the U.S. for his first recruiting class.
