NCMC Lady Pirates Add I-70 Conference Player Of The Year

The North Central Missouri College Lady Pirates basketball team has signed Madison "Maddie" Winters from Orrick High School for the 2014-15 season.

Maddie, this year’s I-70 Conference Player of the Year, will be participating in the 2014 Lions Club All-Star Game at NCMC this summer. She was named to the girls basketball First Team All-Conference and All-District her senior year; her statistics were 18.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. Maddie also played volleyball and was named as a Second Team All-District player her sophomore year. She has been on the Honor Roll at Orrick High School since her sophomore year. She is the second announced recruits for the Lady Pirates, joining Chillicothe's Maggie Graves as new recruits for this fall.
