Sunny Board Votes To Limit Medicaid To Two Months Of Nonpayment

The Board of Directors of the Grundy County Nursing Home District has voted to limit Medicaid pending residents to what the board called two months of nonpayment before notice of discharge is issued as permitted by state and federal regulations.

In other news from a board meeting, the Directors discussed the Sunnyview Apartments addition---where apartments are available for rent. The board approved nearly $4,600 of architectural fees.

Board officers were elected. They are Chairman Larry Griffin, Vice Chairman Barbara Cox, Secretary/Treasurer Jim Cox, and Nursing Home District Attorney Matt Krohn the Assistant Secretary and Treasurer.

The Grundy County Nursing Home Board holds a special session Thursday at Noon at Sunnyview Nursing Home. The budget for the upcoming fiscal year and the Sunnyview Foundation are to be discussed.
