Trenton JV Golf Finishes Runner-Up At Macon Tournament

The Trenton High School junior varsity golf team shot a 195 on Monday, 18 strokes off of the winning score of Helias High School, at the annual Macon JV Tournament.

Helias, in addition to the team win, had the top TWO individual scores on the day, with Brent Bacolod shooting a 43 for medalist honors, and Nick Alexander shooting a 44. Alexander's 44 was matched by Trenton's Tucker Franklin, who shot a 44 for the top Bulldog score of the day. Helias had three golfers involved in a six-way tie for fourth place, with three golfers (Campbell, Roark, and Albertson) all shooting rounds of 45. Trenton's Corbyn Guile was involved in that six-way tie at 45, along with Brookfield's Tyler Vogel.

Other Trenton scores were Drew Dolan at 48, Conner Lovell at 58, and Cade Darting at 62. The host Macon Tigers finished in third place, on one stroke behind Trenton at 196. Marceline was ninth (225) and Brookfield 10th (227) in the 11 team field.
