According to Chillicothe Police, the original charges were for nonsupport of a child and stealing property or services more than $500.00 less than $25-thousand dollars.

Bond was set at $25 thousand dollars cash only.  Damen White also faces other multiple counts including resisting arrest for a felony, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and property damage.  Police officers also arrested 40 year old Scott Martin White for possession of a controlled substance.  Online court records show bond at $5,000.

While officers were serving the warrants, the police report said a dog bit one of the officers. The dog was removed from the residence with the assistance of the Livingston County Animal Control Officer. Police said Theresa Maureen Thompson was issued a citation for having a dog without current vaccinations and no annual city license for the dog.

Damen and Scott White were transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.  Officers were assisted at the scene by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department.
