Gallatin Resident Injured In Saturday Mishap

|A Gallatin resident was hurt Saturday night north of Gallatin when the 4 wheeler she was operating was hit by a pickup truck .|
26 year old Elysia Stone of Gallatin was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with what the highway patrol called serious injuries.
The accident was 4 miles north of Gallatin on 230th Road. The 4 wheeler was southbound while the pickup was northbound. The patrol said the pickup hit the
4 wheeler in the side—throwing Ms. Stone from the all terrain vehicle.
The driver of the pickup, 51 year old Barney Esbeck of Gallatin, was not reported hurt.
The 4 wheeler was demolished. The pickup sustained minor damage.
The patrol said neither person was wearing a safety device.
