There were two TIGHT victories for the visiting Eagles in doubles play, with the team of Nadolski and Ford beating Isaiah Swann and Alex Davis 9-7, with Mears and Lierz of LeBlond beating Trenton's Chanse Houghton and Wilson Utley by the same 9-7 score.

Trenton Head Coach David Sager said, "It wasn't the start out team was looking for, but LeBlond has a very good tennis program and brings great competition every time we play them. Now that the first duel is over, we are looking forward to the Cameron Tournament and work on improving game play one match at a time". The Cameron Tournament, originally scheduled for Wednesday, was postponed until Friday (9:30 AM) due to rain.
