Harris, a 6'3" 297 pound tackle, is a four-star recruit according to Rivals.com, ranked the #14 offensive guard nationally in the Class of 2015. He helped lead Blue Valley to the Kansas Class 5A state championship last fall. He chose Missouri's offer over those from Arkansas, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Ohio State, and Oklahoma State. His former high school teammate, Clay Rhodes, is a redshirt freshman at Missouri, and the primary backup at left tackle heading into the fall. Harris joins running backs Ryan Williams (Lee's Summit West) and Chase Abbington (Hutchinson CC) on Missouri's commitment list.
