Bethany Man Injured In Highway 146 Accident

A Bethany man received what the highway patrol called minor injuries when the car he was driving traveled off Highway 146 north of Gilman City, hit an embankment, and overturned.

48 year old Kevin Laytham was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital at Bethany.

The patrol said a passenger, 21 year old Courtney Laytham of Bethany,had no known injuries. However, she was taken to the hospital at Bethany to be checked.

The accident was shortly after noon yesterday 6 miles north of Gilman City on Highway 146. The patrol said the northbound car went off the left side of the road at a curve,
hit an embankment, and overturned---coming to rest on the driver's side of the vehicle. The patrol listed damage to the vehicle as minor.

The patrol said Courtney Laytham was wearing a seatbelt, but Kevin Laytham was not.
