Carrollton Resident Injured in Livingston County Accident

A Carrollton resident was hurt in southeastern Livingston County when a car hit a deer, went off Route H, and hit a ditch.

The highway patrol said 56 year old Steven Myler of Carrollton was taken to Hedrick Medical Center at Chillicothe with minor injuries.

Myler was a passenger in a car driven by 46 year old Roberta Burton of Urich. She was not reported hurt.

The accident was 4 miles east of Avalon on Route H. The patrol said the westbound car received moderate damage when it hit a deer, went off the right side of the road, hit a ditch, and came to rest on its wheels.

Both persons were wearing seatbelts.
