The driver, 28 year old Elizabeth Hogan of Jameson, and a passenger, 24 year old James Wilson of Bethany, were taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with what the
Highway patrol called moderate injuries.

The patrol said the driver's daughter, 4 year old Maryjane Rice of Jameson, was treated for minor injuries at the scene and released.

The accident was 2 miles west of Jameson on Jordan Avenue.

The patrol said the eastbound car went out of control on the gravel road, traveled off the road, hit an embankment, and overturned, coming to rest on the passenger side of the vehicle.

The car was demolished. All three persons were wearing seatbelts.
