Authorities said the incidents were in June and August of last year.
Two other charges against Stephens were dismissed by the prosecution. They had accused him of misdemeanor driving while his license was suspended in June of last year and misdemeanor driving while his license was revoked in August of last year.
Twenty three year old Brandon Bouzek of Trenton pleaded to a reduced charge of misdemeanor 3rd degree assault. Imposition of a sentence was suspended and Bouzek was put on probation for 2 years. He's required to pay restitution and fees to the Prosecuting Attorney's office totaling $2175, pay court costs of $116, and make a $300 contribution to the Grundy County Law Enforcement fund.
