The school districts are Trenton R-9, Pleasant View R-6, Laredo, Grundy R-5, Princeton, Gilman City, Ridgeway, Cainsville, South Harrison, and North Harrison.

The GED Foundation, which is operated on a volunteer basis, is primarily funded through the Operation Round-up program. It allows Grundy Electric Cooperative members and customers of the Grundy County Public Water Supply District to round up their utility bill to the next even dollar. Donations collected by Grundy County Public Water Supply District are disbursed solely to Grundy County projects.

The next grant application deadline is April 30th. Qualified applicants must be a non-profit 501 C 3 organization or other eligible entity. Application forms are available from Grundy Electric Cooperative at Trenton by telephone or on-line.

The funds are distributed in Grundy Electric's 12 county service area in the categories of education, health, and rural development.
