The community blood center reports the new date for a blood drive in Princeton is Tuesday February 18th. It will be held from 2 o'clock until 6 o'clock at the Stacy multi-purpose center near the Princeton schools.

The Northeast Missouri Health Council was planning to have a public meeting tonight at Princeton but the meeting itself has been canceled. However, appointments can be scheduled to meet with a representative of the health council.

Jocelyn Eppich plans to be in Princeton, at the Mercer County Library one week from now, Thursday February 13th. She plans to meet individually with persons interested in health care options. Calls will need to be made to schedule appointments. That phone number at Kirksville is 660 988 36-69.

While Ms. Eppich will be at the library in Princeton, she'll meet with anyone regarding the new health insurance marketplace. They just need to make an appointment to minimize waiting time. The assistance is provided free of charge. A grant provided funding for the the northeast Missouri health council to send a representative to Mercer county, one of nine counties within its territory.
