Chillicothe Residents Injured In Accident Near Lock Springs

Three Chillicothe residents received what the highway patrol called minor injuries when a car traveled off Highway 190 at Lock Springs, hit an embankment, and came to rest along the road.

One of the passengers, 18 year old Autumn Rowe, was taken by private vehicle to Hedrick Medical Center at Chillicothe with minor injuries.

The patrol reports two other passengers, 22 year old Emmanuel Sanchez, and 20 year old Iesha Wallace, refused transport.

The driver, 18 year old Joseph George of Leavenworth, Kansas was not reported hurt.

The accident occurred Saturday night on Highway 190 at 330th Street at Lock Springs. The patrol reports the southbound car failed to negotiate a curve, went off the right side of the road, and hit an embankment. The car was driven from the ditch and came to a controlled stop on the right side of the road. The 2013 model car was demolished.

The patrol said Autumn Rowe was the only person not wearing a seatbelt.
