Princeton Swept In GRC Doubleheader At Polo

The Polo Panthers claimed a pair of victories over the visting Princeton Tigers in Grand River Conference basketball action on Monday night.

Polo won the girls contest by a score of 62-39, with Sidney Copeland leading a balanced Lady Panther attack with 15 points. Adriana Segar added 14, with Danielle Allen and Tabitha Poje both scoring 10 for Polo, now 11-3 overall and 2-0 in the GRC. Paige Phillips had 16 points and Maddie Enright seven for Princeton, losers of three straight.

The Princeton boys were defeated by Polo, 54-41, dropping the Tigers to 8-5 overall, and 0-2 in the Grand River Conference. Princeton will host South Harrison on Tuesday night at the PHS gymnasium, with the girls game at 6 o'clock, and boys to follow.
