The Stanberry Bulldogs beat the Albany Warriors by a final score of 54-52, in the boy's championship game of the Stanberry Invitational Basketball Tournament on Saturday night.

The win improves the defending Class 1 runner-up Bulldogs to 11-1 on the season. Alex McQuinn led Stanberry with 17 points. Daniel Hayley had 14 points and Ryan Jensen 10 points. The loss drops Albany's record to 10-2. The Warriors had 28 points from Noah Wilmes and 10 points from Andrew Raines.

The Mound City boys won the third place game over Jefferson, 52-47. The North Andrew boys won Friday night's consolation final over King City, 48-41.

The girl's championship game went to North Andrew, 52-45 over Mound City. South Nodaway won the girl's third place game, 43-27 over King City. Jefferson claimed the girl's consolation trophy over Stanberry, 46-37.
