Braymer Resident Injured In Saturday Accident

A Braymer resident was hurt north of Kingston Saturday afternoon when the car she was driving hit the rear of a pickup truck slowing to make a left turn.

That's according to the highway patrol, which reported 65-year old Belinda Willis of Braymer, was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck, 76-year old Kenneth Burnett of Kingston, was not reported hurt.

The accident occurred two miles north of Kingston on Highway 13. Both vehicles were northbound.

The investing officer reported the pickup truck was slowing to make a left turn when it was hit from behind by the car.

The car was extensively damaged, but the pickup truck was not damaged.

Both persons were wearing seat belts.
