Chillicothe Fire Department Responds To Brush Fire

Chillicothe firefighters early last evening responded to the report of a natural cover fire at the Hutchinson Cemetery on L-I-V road 230.

Upon arrival, firemen discovered two brush fires burning at the edge of the cemetery property. The fire also had spread into timber on property owned by David Neal along Highway 190.

The Chillicothe fire department report indicated approximately 50 gallons of water and leaf blowers were used to extinguish the brush and grass fire.

There were no injuries and no damage to any property.
