Illinois Woman Injured In Highway 36 Accident Near Bucklin

An Illinois woman received what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries when the car she was a passenger in was attempting to pass a tractor trailer but the large truck slid into the path of the car.

The accident happened on U-S Highway 36, five miles southeast of Bucklin.

The highway patrol reported 20 year old Haleigh Buchfink of Naperville, Illinois was taken by ambulance to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield. She was riding in a westbound car driven by 50 year old Debra Buchfink of Naperville.

Also westbound was the large truck driven by 58 year old Patricia Braden of Stover, Missouri. Neither driver was hurt. All persons were using seat belts.

The patrol report listed damages as extensive to the car and minor to the truck.
