GRM Makes Scholarships Available To High School Seniors

GRM Networks are participating in a program in which the Foundation For Rural Service will award scholarships to rural high school seniors.

The Foundation for Rural Service is providing $2,000 of each scholarship. Another $500 comes from a sponsoring telecommunications provider or associate member.

Preference will be given to students expressing an interest in returning to a rural area to work following graduation. Applicants must be a senior whose parents or guardians are members of GRM Networks. Application forms are available from guidance counselors at high schools served by GRM Networks. Application forms also may be downloaded from www.grm.net. Foundation for Rural Service also will provide four Staurulakis Family Scholarships valued at $5,000 each, and two TMS Scholarships valued at $1,500 each. Students majoring in math, science, engineering, or medicine are given preference for the Foundation For Rural Service / Staurulakis Family Scholarships.
