U.S. 36 Wreck Injures Two

A pickup truck went out of control on snow-covered Highway 36 east of Cameron, hit a ditch, and overturned.

The Highway Patrol said the driver, 22-year old Andi Marginean of Lufkin, Texas, refused treatment at the scene for minor injuries. The accident was late Saturday afternoon seven miles east of Cameron on Highway 36. The eastbound pickup went off the right side of the road, hit the ditch, and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels. The vehicle was demolished. Marginean was wearing a seat belt.
